The Leatherstocking Corvette Club presents the Harvest Fun Run; a full day of fun and fellowship for Corvette owners.  This event is open to all Corvettes, and their owners, but space is limited to the first 50 entrants.

The registration fee for this event includes admission to the car museum, coffee and donuts at the museum, entry in the Colors Car Show, and a Brook’s famous barbeque chicken dinner at the end of the ride.  The cost is $45 for singles, $70 for couples.

The day begins at the Northeast Car Museum in Norwich (www.clasiccarmuseum.org) at 9:30, where we will have coffee, donuts and tour the museum while cars will be judged in categories by color.  The Museum has over 100 cars on display indoors and we will have ample time to meet, greet, and view all of the classic and antique cars.

We will leave the museum at 11:30, driving from Norwich to Morris where we will pick up NY 51.  This gently winding 2 lane highway follows the scenic Butternut Valley North.  On Route 80, before reaching Cooperstown, we will stop at Jerry’s Place for refreshments.  Incidentally, Jerry’s is the home of the Wanderers Car Club.  If you’re also into street rods, ask Jerry about the Wanderers.

Departing Jerry’s we will go into historic Cooperstown, then North on Rte 80 following the shoreline of Otsego Lake.  Then on to I-88 to Oneonta.

Upon reaching Oneonta, we will reconvene at the 6th Ward Athletic Field for a barbecue chicken dinner, furnished by Brooks.  Brooks has been a local attraction for over 50 years and if you like barbeque, you’ll love Brooks.

Plaques will be awarded to the winner of each color category at the Field.

There is a covered pavilion at this location and rest rooms for our use. Inclement weather will not interfere with supper or the awards!

This will be a great early fall ride; join us to welcome the fall season.  We may even see some early foliage colors!  Send in your registration today!
